Buying Guide — What to Look For

When picking a phone to enjoy the Shanghai Open, keep these factors in mind:

• Display quality: A high‑refresh‑rate (≥120 Hz) OLED panel offers smoother motion rendering, which is crucial for fast sports action.
• Processor & RAM: A recent flagship chipset (Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, Apple A17 Pro, Tensor G3) paired with at least 8 GB RAM guarantees lag‑free streaming on 5G or Wi‑Fi.
• Battery & charging: Look for 4,500 mAh+ capacities and fast‑charging (≥45 W) to survive long match days.
• Camera versatility: While streaming is primary, a good camera lets you capture the stadium atmosphere. Telephoto lenses (3×‑10×) are handy for close‑up shots from the stands.
• Software support: Regular OS updates and security patches keep the device secure and improve performance over the tournament’s duration.
• Price vs. features: Balance your budget with the features you truly need – a premium display may outweigh a marginal camera upgrade for pure viewing.
